Stronger is the ligand, greater will be the crystal field splitting and lower will be the wavelength of light absorbed.

The increasing order of the crystal field splitting (as per the ligand strength according to spectrochemical series) is CN>en>H2O>I.

And the order of wavelength absorbed by the respective ligands is CN<en<H2O<I.

Hence, the decreasing order of the wavelengths of light absorbed by the complex ions is III>I>IV>II.
