Solution

The correct option is A 2 : 1 1 : 1
Bentham and Hooker proposed the natural classification system for seed plants and divided them into three classes, dicotyledonae, Gymnospermae and monocotyledonae. Class dicotyledonae was further divided into three subclasses which in turn had total 14 series. Class monocotyledonae was divided into 7 series and 34 orders. Therefore, the ratio of a number of series in dicotyledonae (14 series) and monocotyledonae (7 series) is 2:1. And the ratio of a number of classes (total 3 classes) and sub-classes (total 3 subclasses) is 1:1.
This makes option A correct answer.
