Calvin cycle involves three phases which occur in a sequence of Carboxylation, Reduction and Regeneration. In carboxylation phase RUBP accepts CO2 and PGA is produced. In reduction phase PGA is reduced to triose phosphate and finally, in regeneration phase RuBP is regenerated.
