Solution

The correct option is C

Abrus, Nymphaea, Brassica

(i) Abrus belongs to the family Leguminosae. It shows the marginal placentation in which the placenta forms the ridge along the ventral suture of the ovary.
(ii) Nymphaea shows the superficial or the laminar placentation in which the ovules are borne on the inner surface of the ovary as well on the septa.
(iii) Brassica shows the parietal placentation in which the ovules are borne on the peripheral inner margins of the ovary. The ovaries are unilocular but due to the emergence of false septum called replum, the ovary appears bilocular.
Hence, the correct answer is 'Abrus, Nymphaea, Brassica'
