Identify the disadvantages of RNA over DNA as a genetic material and explain it.

1. DNA is the key molecule that constitute the chromatin and the helical structure. It maintains the hereditary uniqueness of the cell and the individual organism.
2. The DNA molecule is the seat of hereditary material of the cell , while the RNA proteins are only and accessory. RNA molecules are needed for the functioning of the nucleus.
3. DNA offers more information security because of its double helical structure. It protects the nucleotide bases by keeping them inside the structure and also helps in identifying the errors after replication.
   
4. The DNA has a capability to form proteins and RNA.
5. The RNA acts as a link between the nucleus and cytoplasm in manufacturing and transporting proteins.
6. Though DNA and RNA are nucleic acids, they have different roles and functions in the organization of cells and organism.
7. DNA is chemically more stable than RNA so it is possible to maintain greater length of DNA in comparison to RNA.
