Solution

The correct option is C IV only
Sterilisation or surgical methods are used in both males and females. The surgical methods block the transport of gametes and prevent contraception. Tubectomy or tubal ligation is the applied surgical method in females and vasectomy is the applied surgical method for males. A small part of the fallopian tube is removed or tied up through a small cut in the abdomen or through the vagina in the process of tubectomy in females. A small portion of the vas deferens is removed or tied up through a small cut on the scrotum in the process of vasectomy.
Surgical methods of contraception do not protect from getting infected from sexually transmitted diseases. Other supplementary contraceptives like condoms need to be used to avoid STDs.
Vasectomy and tubectomy don’t affect the sexual act. The formation of gametes is not obstructed but their transport is.
