This is the diagram of a blastocyst where A is trophoblast. The cells of blastula differentiate to form two layer of cells outer and inner. The outer cells form the trophoblast which later on forms the placental cord and helps in implantation. The inner mass of cells forms the developing embryo. The cavity lying in between is known as blastocoel.
