a) The Andaman and Nicobar Islands lie in the Arabian sea and the Lakshadweep islands lie in the Bay of Bengal.

b) The countries constituting the Indian Subcontinent are Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar and Bangladesh.

c) The states through which the Tropic of Cancer passes are Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Tripura and Mizoram.

d) The northernmost latitude in degrees:- The coordinates are 37°6’E.

e) The southernmost latitude of the Indian mainland in degrees:- The coordinates are 8°4’E.

f) The place situated on the three seas:- The place is Kanyakumari.
