Solution

The correct option is D Refractive index
The quantities that do not depend upon the quantity or mass of a substance are called intensive properties. Enthalpy is usually expressed in units of kJ/mol or kJ/kg which is clearly dependent on the mass/amount of substance.

T is an interesting variable. You see, if I have a mass of 1 kg which has a temperature T, and I remove 0.5 kg from it, its temperature still remains to be T. This should make it clear that this is an intensive property.

V is pretty straightforward, the more I have of something, the larger volume it will occupy. Hence, this is extensive

Refractive index is a property of a material and does not depend on the quantity of the material taken, so this is intensive as well.
