Insulin is a hormone secreted by the pancreas that allows your body to use sugar (glucose) from carbohydrates in the food that you eat for energy or to store glucose for future use. Insulin helps to keep your blood sugar level from getting too high (hyperglycemia) or too low (hypoglycemia). Whereas, thyroid stimulating hormone helps in thyroxine secretion, growth hormone helps in body growth, antidiuretic hormone increases the reabsorption of water from the kidney and are secreted by the pituitary.
