Adrenal glands are small, triangular-shaped glands located on top of each kidney and also known as Suprarenal kidney. Adrenal glands are composed of two parts — the outer cortex( indicated as A) and the inner medulla( indicated as B). Each one produces different hormones. Each kidney is surrounded by a thick layer of adipose tissue, called perirenal fat, indicated in question as B. So the correct answer is option A.
