Joints present in the knee are known as hinge joints(H).
The point at which two separate bones are joined together is known as joints. With the help of these joints, we can bend or move our body parts. On the basis of the mobility of the joints, they are classified into the following types: ball-and-socket joint, hinge joint, pivotal joint, gliding joint and synovial joints.
The joint that allows movement of bones in only one direction, i.e. forward and backwards exactly in the same way a door moves on its hinges is known as thehinge joint.
