Circular motion
When the body moves in a circular path with respect to time, it is known as circular motion.
Point A on the blade will move in a circular path when the fan rotates and hence depicts circular motion. This can be understood from the below image.
When the body moves about its own axis, it is known as rotational motion.
When the body moves forward and backwards about its mean position with respect to time, it is known as oscillatory motion.
When the body moves in a straight line with respect to time, it is known as linear motion.
