Chromoplast is the plastid that gives colour. It gives colour to flowers and fruits. Leucoplast is a colourless plastid. It stores starch and is found mainly in roots. Chlorophyll is a pigment which gives green colour and is not a plastid. A chloroplast is a plastid which contains chlorophyll and so is green in colour. It is capable of photosynthesis and makes food for the plant.
