For geometric sequence, ratio between Subsequent terms should be constant, here,

$\frac{\frac{2}{4}}{\frac{1}{2}}=\frac{1}{2}\times 2=1$;

$\frac{\frac{4}{8}}{\frac{2}{4}}=\frac{1}{2}\times 2=1;\frac{\frac{8}{16}}{\frac{4}{8}}=\frac{1}{2}\times 2=1$.
