So,
$7.5 l i t e r s : 15 l i t e r s = \frac{7.5}{15} [M u l t i p l y i n g n u m e r a t o r a n d d e n o m i n a t o r b y 10] \frac{7.5 \times 10}{15 \times 10} = \frac{75}{150} [D i v i d i n g n u m e r a t o r a n d d e n o m i n a t o r b y t h e i r H C F 75] \frac{75 \div 75}{150 \div 75} = \frac{1}{2} o r 1 : 2$
Now,
$5 k g : 10 k g = \frac{5}{10} [D i v i d i n g n u m e r a t o r a n d d e n o m i n a t o r b y t h e i r H C F 5] \frac{5 \div 5}{10 \div 5} = \frac{1}{2} o r 1 : 2$
Clearly, here we see that both ratios are equal. i.e- $7.5 l i t e r s : 15 l i t e r s = 5 k g : 10 k g$
