Transparent objects - Objects that allow light to pass through them are called transparent objects. Clean water is transparent here in this table.
Translucent objects - Objects that can transmit only a part of light to pass through them are called translucent objects. Smoke and butter paper are translucent here in this table.
Opaque objects - Objects that do not allow light to pass through them are called opaque objects. Black-coloured glass pane, aluminium foil and brick are opaque here on this table.
We know that opaque objects do not allow light to pass through them. Here aluminium foil, black coloured glass pane, bricks do not let light to pass through it.
Transparent objects allow light to pass through them. Clean water is a transparent object.
Butter paper and smoke are translucent, which partially allows the light to pass through them.
