Consider the first expression
11+sin2x11+sec2x
=11+sin2xcos2x1+cos2x
=1+cos2xcos2xsin2xcos2x(1+sin2x)(1+cos2x)
=1+cos2xcos2xsin2xcos2x1+(sin2xcos2x)+sin2xcos2x
=1sin2xcos2x2+sin2xcos2x ...(i)
Let us now consider second expression
11+cos2xsin2x1+sin2x
=1+sin2xsin2xcos2xsin2x(1+sin2x)(1+cos2x)
=1cos2xsin2x1+(sin2xcos2x)+sin2xcos2x
=1cos2xsin2x2+sin2xcos2x
=(ii)
However sinx=cosxatx=450
sinx is not equal to cosx for 0<x<450
Hence reason is true assertion is wrong
