Price of $1m$ cloth $=Rs.31\frac{3}{4}=Rs.\frac{127}{4}$
$\therefore$ Cost of $5\frac{1}{2}m$ cloth $=Rs.\frac{127}{4}\times 5\frac{1}{2}$
$=Rs.\frac{127}{4}\times \frac{11}{2}=\frac{1397}{8}$
$=Rs.174\frac{5}{8}$
