The oxidation reaction is as follows:
2KMnO4+5H2O2+4H2SO42KHSO4+2MnSO4+8H2O+5O2
Meq. of O2= Meq. of H2O2= Meq. of KMnO4
It is given that 10 ml of H2O2 solution when treated with 25 ml of N20 KMnO4 for complete oxidation.
N×10=25×120
Normality of H2O2=0.125N=Normality of O2
Weight of O2=0.125×32=4 g per litre.
