(i) % of ribbon cut = $\frac{10}{100} = \frac{1}{10}$
(ii) length of each part of ribbon cut is
$\frac{10}{100} \times 7 m$ and $\frac{90}{100} \times 7 m$
$= 0.7 m$ and $6.3 m$
