Weight of 12 cotton balls = 40 grams
We can aslo write

40 grams will make 12 cotton balls
1 gram will make 12/40 cotton balls
2.5 kgs will make (12/40) x 2.5 [1 Mark]

2.5 kgs will be equal to 2500 grams

Hence,
2.5 kgs will make (12/40) x 2500= 750 [1 Mark]
