The correct option is B No
We have the first expression as 15xy+16mn2. It contains literal factors as xy and mn2–––.

We have the second expression as 7ab+13pq2. It contains literal factors as ab and pq2––.

We can add or subtract the algebraic terms which contain the same literal factors. But in these two algebraic expressions, terms have different literal factors.

Adding the first expression to the second expression:
(15xy+16mn2)+(7ab+13pq2)



As all the terms(unlike terms) contain different literal factors, the above expression cannot be simplified further.

Therefore, option (b.) is the correct answer.
