1st January is Wednesday and we know that we have 7 days in a week after that again the same day repeats.
So, 8th January is also wednesday as 1+7 = 8.
Similarly,
8+7 = 15,
15+7 = 22,
22+7 = 29
We stop at 29 as adding 7 to it will be 29+7 = 36. But there are only 31 days in January.
So 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th will be wednesdays.
