If 2 considerably strong bar magnets are taped together, nearly in contact, with the south poles facing each other then they apply a constant force to repel. Does this mean that the magnets r weakening?

• According to the properties of magnet, it can be stated that like poles repel and unlike poles attract.
• When like poles are facing each other, then the magnets repel each other. It doesn't mean the magnets are weakening.
