If 2 considerably strong bar magnets are taped together, nearly in contact, with the south poles facing each other then they apply a constant force to repel. Does this mean that the magnets r weakening?

According to the properties of magnet, it can be stated that like poles repel and unlike poles attract.
When like poles are facing each other, then the magnets repel each other. It doesn't mean the magnets are weakening.
