If 2 kg of groundnuts has 400 groundnuts in it,then

i.) How many number of groundnuts will be there in 5kg ?
ii.) How many kilograms of groundnuts do 6400 groundnuts constitute? [ 4 MARKS ]

Application: 3 Marks

As the number of groundnuts increase, the weight also simultaneously increases. Hence , they are directly proportional.

i.) $\frac{2}{400}$ = $\frac{5}{x}$

Thus there will be 1000 groundnuts.

ii.) $\frac{2}{400}$ = $\frac{y}{6400}$

So, the above number of groundnuts constitute 32 kg.
