Quantity of milk in 1 jar of milkshake
= 2 litre.
Total Quantity of milk = 16 litre.

Number of jars can be obtained by dividing 16 by 2.

Lets apply repeated subtraction method.


16 - 2 = 14
14 - 2 = 12
12 - 2 = 10
10 - 2 = 8
8 - 2 = 6
6 - 2 = 4
4 - 2 = 2
2 - 2 = 0

After 8 times 16 reduces to 0. So, 8 jars will be made using 16 litre of milk.
