If 20 litres of mixture containing 85% milk is mixed with 25 litres of another mixture, Then the resultant mixture has 60% milk. Find the percentage of milk in the second mixture.

Milk in first mix $=\frac{85}{100}\times 20$

$=17$ ltrs

Milk in $2^{nd}$ mix $=\frac{x}{100}\times 25=\frac{x}{4}$

Total milk $=\frac{60}{100}\left(45\right)=27$ ltrs

So $17+\frac{x}{4}=27$

$\Rightarrow \frac{x}{4}=10$

$\Rightarrow x=40\%$.
