If three numbers form a pythagorean triplet, then the sum of the squares of two numbers is equal to the square of the third number.
242 +x2 = 262

x2 = 262242

x2 = (26+24)(2624)

x2 = 50×2

x2 = 100

x2 = 102

x=10
The value of x is 10.
