If 2x,x+10,3x+2 are in AP find the value of x

For an AP , ther is a common differennce, that is the difference between the succesive terms is constant.
common difference,
d=(x+10)-2x=10-x
also
d=(3x+2)-(x+10)
=2x-8
equating both values of x, we get
10-x = 2x-8
3x=18
x=6
