Open in App
Solution

We have :
3-13+1 = a + b3

Now, rationalising the denominator of the given number by multiplying
both the numerator and denominator with 3-1, we get:
3-13+1=3-13+1×3-13-1=3-1232-12=3+1-232=4-232=22-32=2-3

2-3 = a + b3
On comparing the LHS and RHS, we get:
a = 2 and b = -1
