Mole fraction is defined as the ratio of moles of a particular substance to the total moles of the mixture.

To calculate the moles, we use the equation:

Nummber of moles=given massmolar mass

Numbar of moles of HCl=3.6536.5=0.1 mol

Number of moles of water=16.2gm18gm/mol=0.9 mol

Mole fraction of HCl=mole of HClmole of water+mole of HCl

Mole fraction of HCl=0.10.9+0.1=0.1.

So the answer is 0.10.
