$\left(3\frac{1}{x}\right)\times \left(3\frac{3}{4}\right)=12\frac{1}{2}\Rightarrow \frac{3x+1}{x}\times \frac{15}{4}=\frac{25}{2}$

$\Rightarrow (3x+1)15\times 2=4x\times 25\Rightarrow 3\times 2(3x+1)=20x$

$\Rightarrow 18x+6=20x\Rightarrow 2x=6\Rightarrow x=3$
