Given, $3 (x + 5) - (x + 2) = 2 x - 3 x + 4$

$\Rightarrow 3 x + 15 - x - 2 = 2 x - 3 x + 4$ ...[By Distribution Law]

$\Rightarrow 2 x + 13 = - x + 4$ ...[On simplifying].

Transposing $x$ terms to one side, we get,
$\Rightarrow 2 x + x = 4 - 13$
