If 3x2y=5 and 3y2x=3 then find the value of (x+y).

Open in App
Solution

3x2y=5............ (1)
3y2x=3
2x+3y=3
Multiply (1) by 2 & eq (2) by 3
6x4y=10..........(3)6x+9y=19..........(4)_______________Adding eqn (3) and (4), we get
6x4y=106x+9y=19___________5y=1
y=15
Putting the value in
6x45=10
6x=10+45=545
x=545×6=95
x=95
Now x+y=95+15=105=2$
x+y=2
