Question

If 44 g of Carbondioxide contains 'X' molecules what mass of water will have the same number of molecules

Open in App
Solution

44 g of Carbon dioxide contains X molecules. This X will be equal to avogadro number as molar mass (mass of i mole of CO2) of CO2 = 44 g mol-1ā€‹ and 1 mole of any substance contains 6.022×1023 molecules. Now, water contains the same number of molecules. So, 1 mole of water contains 6.022×1023 molecules of water. Mass of 1 mole of water = 18 g
