Solution

Dear student,
During the process of spermatogenesis, primary spermatocyte is diploidic which undergoes meiosis I to form two secondary spermatocyte (haploidic). Secondary spermatocyte undergoes meiosis II to form four spermatid (haploidic). Therefore 44 secondary spermatocyte will produce 88 spermatid.
Meiocyte is diploidic which produces double the number of meiocytes to form secondary spermatocyte (haploidic). Therefore 22 meiocytes produces 44 secondary spermatocyte.
