According to the 10% law, only 10% of energy is transferred from one trophic level to the succeeding trophic level.
So, if the plant has 5 joules of energy available, only 10% of it will be received by the goat, i.e., 0.5 joules.
The lion will get only 10% of the energy available with the goat, i.e., 0.05 joules of energy.
