If 6, 8 and c form a Pythagorean triplet, then find the value of c?
10
We know that, 2m,m2−1 and m2+1 form a Pythagorean triplet.
Let us consider 2m=6⇒m=3.Then, (m2–1)=9−1=8
Hence, c=m2+1
∴c=(m2+1)=9+1=10
6, 8, 10 form a Pythagorean triplet.
