6g of Fe contains=656 moles of Fe
1g of O2 contains= 132 moles of O2
moles Fe+1/2O2FeO
at t=0 656 132
12 mole of O2 is reacting with 1 mole of Fe. Thus 132 mole of O2 reacts with 2×132=116 mole of Fe. Thus O2 is limiting reagent here, as12 mole of O2 gives 1 mole of FeO. Thus 132 mole of O2 will give 232 mole of FeO
Thus amount of FeO in 116 mole produced is 116×72=4.5g
Thus 4.5g of FeO will be produced.
