Open in App
Solution

A = {1,2,3,4}, B = { 4,5,6} and C = {1,3,5}

(i) A - B
It contains all those elements of A which do not belong to B.
Hence, A - B = {1,2,3}

(ii) B-C
It contains all those elements of B which do not belong to C.
Hence, B - C = {4,6}

(iii) C-A
It contains all those elements of C which do not belong to A.
Hence, C-A = {5}
