Solution

The correct option is D 1.75 g
Isotonic solution:
Two solutions having the same osmotic pressure across a semipermeable membrane is referred to as an isotonic solution.
10% (w/V) cane sugar solution means, 10 g of cane sugar is there in 100 mL of solution.
Molar concentration of cane sugar=w1m1×V1=10342×0.1
and
Molar concentration of urea=w2m2V2=w260×0.1
Here V1 and V2 are the volumes of solutions in L
For isotonic solutions,

w1m1V1=w2m2V210342×0.1=w260×0.1w2=1.754 g
