Open in App
Solution

(i) a2 + b2

= (2)2 + (−2)2 = 4 + 4 = 8

(ii) a2 + ab + b2

= (2 × 2) + 2 × (−2) + (−2) × (−2)

= 4 − 4 + 4 = 4

(iii) a2b2
