Solution

The correct options are
B A and ¯¯¯¯B are independent
C ¯¯¯¯A and ¯¯¯¯B are independent
D P(A/B)+P(¯¯¯¯A/B)=1
If A and B are independent events, i.e., the occurrence of one does not affect the occurrence of the other, then obviously ¯A and ¯B are also independent of each other. Similarly, A is independent of ¯B and vice-versa.
Again, since A and B are independent events, P(A|B)=P(A) and similarly, P(¯A|B)=P(¯A).
Since P(A)+P(¯A)=1, hence, P(A|B)+P(¯A|B)=1.
