Solution

The correct option is C 0.5
We have,

P(A)=0.4

P(B)=?

P(AB)=0.7

P(AB)=0.2

Then,

P(AB)=P(A)+P(B)+P(AB)

0.7=0.4+P(B)0.2

0.7=0.2+P(B)

P(B)=0.70.2

P(B)=0.5

Hence, this is the answer.
