given, P(A⋃B) + P(A⋂B) = 78
P(A) = 2 P(B)
then using,
P(A⋃B) = P(A) + P(B) – P(A⋂B)
i.e P(A⋃B) + P(A⋂B) = 12P(A) + P(A)
i.e 78=32P(A)i.e P(A) = 712
