Since A=ABAB PA=PAB+PAB-PABAB =PAB+PAB-PABB Intersection is commutative =PAB+PAB-Pϕ BB=ϕ PA=PAB+PAB-0i.e PAB= PA-PAB
∴ Probability of occurrence of A only is P(A) – P(A∩B).
