P(A)=1710=310
So, P(A)=310
and P(B)=1α
Since they are both independent events,
So, P(AB)=P(A).P(B)
P(AB)=310(1α)
Now P(AB)=P(A)+P(B)P(AB)
810=310+1α310(1α)
7α=2
α=27
