Given a+b = 5 & ab = 6

$(a + b)^{3} = a^{3} + b^{3} + 3 a b (a + b)$

$(5)^{3} = a^{3} + b^{3} + 3 \times 6 [5]$

$125 = a^{3} + b^{3} + 90$

$a^{3} + b^{3}$ = 35
