Question

If A, B and C are interior angles of a triangle ABC, then what is sin(B+C2) in terms of cosine trigonometric function?

Open in App
Solution

ABC is a triangle.
So,
A+B+C=180B+C=180AB+C2=180A2=1802A2=90A2

Taking sin on both sides,
sinB+C2=sin(90A2)=cosA2
